Charissa Thompson born April 4, 1982, in Seattle Washington United States is one of America's best known and richest Sportscasters. ESPN analyst who was hired as co-host of SportsNation during the year 2012. She cohosted ABC show Splash along with Joey Lawrence. Thompson is from Seattle Washington. The youngest of three children she envisioned her dream to be a journalist from the age of three. She was a graduate of Inglemoor High School located in Kenmore Washington. Thompson relocated from Washington to California in order to enrol at a community college. She also gained California residency. Later, she transferred to the University of California Santa Barbara, where she received an B.A. in Law and Society in 2004. In 2004, Sports Illustrated wrote she left Washington State (WSU) in order to go to a community college in California after which she transferred onto UC Santa Barbara Thompson has clarified she did not attend WSU. Thompson was contacted by Sports Illustrated via email before she began her career as the sportscaster. They provided her with the chance to paint her body using body paint in a Swimsuit issue.
